About Me

“We hope you enjoy the show…”
I am a solo, acoustic folk act, making the rounds at local coffee houses and bistros. I play a mellow, folksy set. My original songs can be classified much the way Johnny Cash classified his own: songs about life, love, murder and God. My more recent creations include the following:
- “Walking Too Close to the Edge” — a “theme” song about a guy, just out of prison, struggling to get on in life
- “A. Lincoln” — a folk song about the 16th president of the United States
- “On and On Again” — about wandering through life
- “Greensleeves” — traditional lyrics (“Alas, my love, you do me wrong…” not the Christmas version) set to a new melody — I hope you find that ironic
I’ve played everywhere, from dive bars to really classy coffee houses. Among the “classy,” I’ve played at…
- Orchard Valley Coffee
- Jia Tella’s
- Sue’s Coffee Roasting Company
- Saxby’s
- Steeltown Coffee & Tea
I adapt my set to the audience, playing it up, or else blending into the background.
